ThinkPad T490s: Ultra-Slim, Ultra-Productive
The Lenovo ThinkPad T490s embodies the perfect balance between feather-light portability and enterprise-grade performance. This laptop is designed for professionals who are constantly on the move and seek an uncompromised, reliable, and exceptionally lightweight device. The T490s is slimmer and lighter than ever while retaining the legendary durability and power characteristic of the T-series.
Immerse yourself in your work with a machine where every detail is engineered for efficiency. The vibrant narrow-bezel display, the crystal-clear Dolby Audio™ Premium sound system, and the best-in-class keyboard combine to provide a seamless user experience. And thanks to the comprehensive ThinkShield security solutions, your data will always be safe, wherever you are, so you can focus on what matters most.
Key Features:
- Feather-light & Ultra-slim Design: With a starting weight of just 1.27 kg (2.81 lbs) and a thin profile, you'll barely notice the T490s in your bag. It's a full-featured office that accompanies you anywhere.
- Vibrant 14-inch Display Options: The narrower bezel design provides a larger screen area. Choose from options like the low-power FHD for maximum battery life, a WQHD panel for stunning detail, or a panel with a PrivacyGuard screen to protect against visual hacking.
- ThinkShield Security Suite: Multi-layered protection for your data. The physical ThinkShutter webcam cover, a secure Match-on-Chip fingerprint reader, and the optional PrivacyGuard screen guarantee your peace of mind.
- Superior Audio & Microphones: With Dolby Audio™ Premium and up-firing speakers, the sound is rich and clear. The dual far-field microphones ensure your voice is always understood during conference calls.
- All-Day Battery Life: Work for hours on a single charge, especially with the low-power display option. And when you're in a hurry, RapidCharge technology provides an 80% charge in just 60 minutes.
- Modern & Versatile Connectivity: Alongside Thunderbolt™ 3, USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI ports, a side mechanical docking connector is included for seamless office integration.
- Legendary ThinkPad Durability: This laptop is tested against 12 military-grade requirements and more than 200 quality checks, ensuring it can withstand spills, drops, and extreme conditions.
The ThinkPad T490s was born from the "work anywhere" philosophy. With the optional global LTE-A card, you can connect to the internet almost anywhere in the world without Wi-Fi. And the PrivacyGuard screen allows you to work on confidential documents in public spaces without worrying about prying eyes.
Every detail is geared towards productivity. The legendary ThinkPad keyboard provides an unmatched typing experience, reducing errors and increasing comfort. The high-resolution WQHD display option is perfect for detailed work like analyzing charts or editing images, while the side dock allows for a one-click transition from mobile to desktop use.
Who is it for and why?
